Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These terms cover services offered by TestDrive Sites, operated by Julian Harris (“we,” “us”). By requesting a preview, paying a launch fee, or signing up for the care plan, you agree to these terms.

2. Free concept previews

Previews are free. A preview is a concept site we may build from publicly available business information so you can evaluate our work.

• A preview is not your official website and is not affiliated with your business until you approve a launch.
• Previews are marked as unofficial concepts, kept out of search engines where we control hosting, and taken down on request.
• You may ask us to change or remove a preview at any time before launch. There is no charge for the preview itself.

3. Launch fee ($497 one time)

If you like the direction of the preview and want to go live, you pay a one-time launch fee of $497. That fee covers finishing the site with your approved content, connecting it to your domain, and handing over the files as described on our sales page.

• Full refund: If you pay the launch fee and then do not approve the final site before it goes live, we refund the full $497.
• Final after go-live: Once you have approved the final site and it is live, the launch fee is final and non-refundable.

4. Optional care plan ($39 / month)

The care plan is optional and month-to-month at $39 per month. It covers hosting management, small monthly edits (up to about 30 minutes), quote-form checks, and domain-renewal reminders, as described on our pricing page.

• You may cancel any time. After you cancel, you will not be billed for future months.
• We do not prorate the current month when you cancel.
• Canceling the care plan does not cancel your ownership of the site or domain. Without the care plan, the site can keep running on free static hosting; you make further changes yourself or hire us separately.

5. What you provide

You are responsible for:

• Supplying a domain you own (or registering one in your name) and granting the access needed to connect it.
• Providing accurate business content: name, phone, hours, services, towns served, license text if any, photos, and anything else you want on the site.
• Confirming that content you ask us to publish is truthful and that you have the right to use any photos or logos you send.

6. What we do not guarantee

We build clear, fast, mobile-friendly sites with solid search basics. We do not guarantee search rankings, lead volume, call volume, or any particular business result. Rankings and leads also depend on your Google Business Profile, reviews, competition, and how you run the business.

7. Ownership

You own your domain (registered in your name) and the finished site files we deliver for your business. You may take the files elsewhere at any time, whether or not you keep the care plan.

8. Concept previews and public information

Concept previews may use public listing information. They are labeled as unofficial concepts and are removed when you ask or when we decide not to continue. We do not invent reviews, licenses, awards, or other credentials.

9. Payments

Launch and care-plan payments are processed by Stripe (or a similar processor we name at checkout). We do not store your full card number on our own systems.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of paid services after an update means you accept the revised terms for future work.
